Dwarf, frog and some dragonflies

Today my collection has grown by two amazing treasures. Both came from Russia. The first one is called гном in Russian and the second - лягушка. In a moment you will see what those creatures are. Both are hand-made and hand-painted.

I could truly say that Russian wooden thimbles are among those I like the most. They are decorated with very small paintbrushes, with very detailed, colourful, impressive patterns. These funny, wooden, little things are true works of art, aren't they?

The first thimble, гном - is a dwarf (wooden thimble Dwarf - Russia) and the second, лягушка - is a frog (wooden thimble Frog and dragonflies - Russia). I decided to put also a photo of the back side to show you beautiful dragonfly and waterlily. Enjoy!
